The Importance of Danger

At TED U, Gever Tulley, founder of Tinkering School, spells out 5 dangerous things you should let your kids do -- and why a little danger is good for both kids and grownups.

Also in comic book form!

Parenting for Resilience

This free webinar was offered on May 21, 2020 to support parents around the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. Trauma Informed Practices specialist Carlee Adamson was joined by Brightworks’ own world-leading educators to discuss what is important to focus on right now as parents and how to use this precious time together to not only survive, but to thrive.

Creative Problem Solving

Gever Tulley uses engaging photos and footage to demonstrate the valuable lessons kids learn at his Tinkering School. When given tools, materials and guidance, these young imaginations run wild and creative problem-solving takes over to build unique boats, bridges and even a roller coaster!

Collaborative Learning at Home

In spring 2020, many schools shifted to distance learning for safety reasons as Covid-19 swept the globe. This mini-conference was hosted by Brightworks, bringing leading edge schools together to discuss how to support collaborative learning at home.
